Reducing Personal Stress

In order to reduce stress a person might recite the Lord's Prayer from Matthew 6, as well as the two verses below from Psalm 55 and 1 Peter 5.
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. (Matthew 6:9-19)

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 (KJV)

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)

S/he will recite a prayer stating her/his needs like so:
LORD, calm , bless, and renew me. I need to find relief from stress. I have the power to mark safe boundaries. I have the power to say "No." I cast all my cares and anxiety on you. You are my comforter and strength. Help me to find joy in simple things that give me relief and ease in difficult and stressful times. Amen.
The person may likewise sprinkle "peace water" around her/himself. S/he could instead sprinkle something for cleansing like "hyssop water." S/he may try an infusion of cloves, orange peels, and cassia--as the scent of cloves are said to promote peace.
